Description The Somerset West Village Garden project (see the facebook page for photo’s) was started by a group of local residents – along the lines of the Organjezicht City Farm project. It’s a non-profit organisation to give work and provide food for unemployed street people in Somerset West. The Lourens River has been extensively re-landscaped – please read the report in advance of our visit – so we have a better understanding BEFORE we meet. We will meet at the Lourensford Gate at 11.15 and drive together to the Country Market area. We also hope to see what Keith Kirsten is up to at Lourensford..?
